Design Research
Research at Transitecture is both a method of practice and a site of experimentation. Through writing, drawing, coding, archival research, and prototyping, we investigate the systems that shape public life, from civic spaces and hospitality environments to cultural, social, and material infrastructures. Our research moves across scales and disciplines, allowing projects to test new methods, clarify complex conditions, and open possibilities for more responsive forms of design practice.
Reclaiming the golf course as a site of ecological repair, this project reimagines amenity beyond exclusivity, ownership, and artificial control.

A modular bamboo mini-grid prototype for Fiji, combining folding solar infrastructure, rainwater harvesting, and community-led assembly to test resilient systems for climate-vulnerable island communities.

Turning facade into spectacle and BOH into theater, this project exposes the hidden choreographies of fine dining service, making affluence, gender, labor, and social performance visible in public space.
In the Weather
Reinhabiting a decaying theater in Salvador, this project works with weather, rupture, and rest to undo inherited enclosures and imagine architecture as a porous condition of sensing, transmutation, and return.
